A DOCUMENTARY SERIES 7 CONTINENTS IN THE MAKING

Fifty years ago, the National Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS) - formerly known as the National Brotherhood of Skiers - organized thousands of People of Color to meet in Aspen, Colorado in the first all-black summit.

  • Now, an NBS Team is on a mission to conquer mountains on each of the 7 continents, a journey 15 years in the making.

  • The Team has recently returned from Africa and is planning additional trips including New Zealand, and Antarctica.

  • The Team's mission is to promote Black Excellence in Winter sports, to demonstrate to People of Color that snow sports are accessible, and to explore and highlight various community projects.

  • SORCERY is collaborating with Cam Sale Film Department, the NBS and The Expedition Team to capture the journey in a feature-length documentary.

  • The film follows a group of African American athletes from every walk of life as they explore the backcountry of the world, highlighting the beauty of skiing, the landscapes, the cultures and the joy of traveling the 7 continents.

  • The project is currently seeking financial and distribution partners and sponsors to join in this unique moment in Sports History, African-American History, and World History.

  • The Documentary also serves as a fundraising initiative for NBS nonprofit community and youth development programs.

    Mountain Guide Trainee

    Bryce is an extremely talented snowboarder WHO has been boarding since the age of 5. ever since then he has been making his way further from resorts into the backcountry. He is currently on his way to becoming an AMGA Ski Guide and pursuing the IFMGA Mountain Guide Route after that. In Ski Africa, Bryce experiences his first trip out of the country and soaks the entire experience in with wide eyes, optimism, and an infectious excitement audiences can’t help but cheer on. Bryce is sponsored by Mountain Hardwear/ Columbia and Weston backcountry

    Cam Sale is a Breckenridge, Colorado based cinematographer established and experienced in aerial and action sports media. He has produced work for clients all over the country. As an active outdoorsmen, Cam is passionate about shooting snowboarding, snowmobiling, motocross, surfing, skateboarding, mountain biking and auto racing videos. He is diversified in his projects also filming TV shows and commercials, promotional videos, local events, inspections for solar, bridge and windmill turbines and even multiple Guinness World record attempts.
